In preparation for Leadership Sunday next week, Ps. Richard Urbahn reminds us of the values that shape who we are as an individual and as a church. Our values give us our identity and hence are important if we are to fulfill the plan that God has for us. Lordship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Leadership Development and Spiritual Family are the values of Every Nation movement. Listen to this message and come prepared for Leadership Sunday!
The Bible is full of God's wonderful thoughts for us, He has our best interest at the palm of His hand. The problem is whether or not we align our own thoughts to His. Our actions are very much dictated by the way we think, and over time they will shape our life destiny. When we start letting the mind of the Master be the master of our mind, we will start enjoying victories in all areas of our life.
This Sunday Every Nation Auckland family celebrated the cultural diversity in the house. About 25 different countries were represented. God's mandate to us is to make disciples from all nations. Whether we realise it or not - God is bringing the nations to New Zealand. So what better way to start working on the mandate than in our own hometown?
This Sunday Ps. Richard shares a real fundamental issue in every Christian life, thought life. Proverbs 23:7 says that our thoughts will determine our destiny. What do we allow to get into our mind? What kind of thoughts do we spend time thinking about? There is only one source of truth, the Word of God. Today let's choose to fill our mind with the Truth.
This Sunday Ps. Richard reveals the second four of The Beautitudes of Christ's disciples. Being a disciple of Christ gives our life a new value. When we totally rely on God and passionately pursue after God, we are being harnessed and shaped into His likeness. There is a cost to pay with this process, however what Christ did for us on the cross two centuries ago far outweighs this cost.
